Oh ha?! Mga lola! Ang taray ng blog ko ngaun — with my very own name. Shocks! Parang maluluha ako. HAHAHA!
www.iammutya.com
Kidding aside. I’ve always wanted to have my very own place dito sa cyberspace. Nakakapanghinayang nga ung ibang mga blog ko dati kse its either I end up deleting them e napabayaan na. But this time its different. Grabe, parang anak ko na din to. My newest baby ika nga. Hayyy! Ang galing galing!
So, with that, I’d like to thank the following peeps for making this blog possible:
Daren – friend na HS buddy kong si Diane na currently based sa Singapore. He gladly set up a domain and hosted it for me. So Daren, thanks again! I know I’ll still have so many questions, kaya sana available ka pa din.
Diane Obviar – for referring Daren to me. Check out her blog: http://Rastamarie.me. Si Miss Sabit ito at awesome photographer! Yey! Ayus ba ang plug ko, Yhan?
Claire - for the wonderful free theme.
Sa aking butihing asawa – naks! special mention. Kase pinayagan nia ako sa kalokohan kong ito.
Pero seriously, sa akin kse di kalokohan to. Kumbaga, past time ko to e. Kahit pa sangkaterbang social networks na ang naglipana jan, iba pa din pag may personal space ka. At say mo?! Sa internet pa! Bongga talaga! O sya, sa ating muling pagkikita. Mas lalo akong gaganahan ng lagay na ito.
Wooohooo!

A Call Out for Help… Be the Hero You Can Be!Posted on October 2nd, 2009 @ 3:24 pm
Here’s a copy of the email I sent to my co-workers yesterday. Just like what I said on my facebook account, my job could be in jeopardy for sending this since soliciting is prohibited in my line of work. But heck! I am desperate — desperate to get the help that my country needs at this time. So I leave it all up to the Lord. Pray for me dear readers…
Before deleting this, please take time to read… And I would appreciate if you can forward this to others who you think are willing to donate anything.
Many of you probably heard of the deadly storm that hit my country, the Philippines last weekend. Typhoon Ondoy (international name: Ketsana) left thousands of families without their home, food, shelter and clothing. And sadly, hundreds without their loved ones too. By Wednesday morning, US time, the death toll has reached to 246 and so many are still missing. CNN also has reported that another “super typhoon” Pepeng (international name: Parma) is about to hit it again with anticipated winds of 150 mph — 20 mph less than that of Hurricane Katrina.
At times like these, my love for my country is awakened. I may be living in a foreign land right now but seeing just how much is needed to rebuild not only their houses but more so their lives makes me want to help in any way I can. And with that I am appealing to each and every one of you to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE donate anyway you can. Here’s is the link to the Philippine National Red Cross (http://www.redcross.org.ph/) wherein a PayPal account has been set up in which you can use your credit or debit card. Think of anything that you have spent recently for something worthless. Then think again of how far that can go to someone who has nothing.
Also, here’s a link of a video (http://vimeo.com/6784039) where in you can see the damage this typhoon has caused.
Lastly, please pray that this other typhoon changes its course. God Bless all of you and thank you so much in advance!
So, if you’re able to donate too, please do!
