The moment na nalaman kong positive nga sa strep si Mhark, I immediately brougth the kids to their pedia. Si Liam binigyan ng shot para isang turok na lang and it should take care of it. Si Gabie natakot so she ended up taking meds. Both were antibiotics.

So sana, in a few days e maging ok na sila. Hubby will be back to work today. Di din nakapasok ng buong linggo. Poor baby!

In other news, eto pedeng pang The Buzz to.. Sobrang tindi! I don’t know how many of you guys are following me on twitter but I did post the story on one of my tweets last week. Tungkol ito sa isang kasama ko sa trabaho na nahuling nagnakaw ng kulang kulang sa 3/4 of a million dollars! YES! You heard it right! It’s estimated at around $724,000! At ang mas masama nian, Pilipino pa sya. Kahiya-hiyang tunay! You can read the news here and here. Jusko! Talagang nagulat ako.

To tell you honestly, hindi sya gusto ng marami dito sa amin. Aside from mejo suplada ang image, ayaw din niang maassociate as Pinoy. Pag tinatanong sya kung Pilipino sya, ang isasagot e oo pero mas preferred daw nia na Pacific Islander sya. Para hindi daw nagegeneralize. Hindi din sya kagaya ng ibang pinoy na mahilig makisalimuha sa kapwa pinoy. At higit sa lahat, ayaw niang magsalita ng tagalog! As in, she prefers not to! Alam kong maalam sya, dahil pag kinakausap ko minsan ng tagalog, napipilitan sya. Pero most of the time, laging ingles. Mas tipo nia ang mga african-american at ibang lahi kesa sa sarili niang lahi. Minsan din, inalok sya ng boss kong pinay na kumain sa isang pilipino resto dito dahil kakadating lang nia dito sa Anchorage, hala at kesyo hindi daw sya mahilig sa pinoy foods! Meron pala nun? Pinoy na hindi mahilig sa Pinoy foods. Kaya mula noon, nawalan talaga ng gana ang boss ko sa kanya.

Anyway, ng lumabas ang balita nung Friday, ang daming nadisappoint at nagalit sa division namin. Kung binasa nio ang mga comments ng mga tao dun sa link ng news sa taas, makikita niong halos lahat, walang magandang sinabi. But who would really do that? Tapos by Friday midnight, na-update ung news at inamin na nga nia ang ginawa nia.

I can’t help but think of her kids. She’s got 3 or 4 I think. Naawa ako dahil sila ang magsa-suffer ng malaki dahil sa ginawa ng magulang nila. And yes, I’m thinking the husband knew about it. Jeez! It’s been going on for 5 years! At wala syang trabaho?! How the heck will they be able to afford all that? Nakakawa ang mga bata dahil araw-araw, papasok sila sa school and all the other kids can think of e magnanakaw ang nanay nila. Last I heard is that, investigation is still on going. Baka daw kase may iba pang involved like ung asawa nga at ung relatives. Tsaka baka daw may mga properties pang kailangang i-seize.

Hay, sana lang eventually e  maging ayus ang mga bata. And as for her, I’m sure mahaba-haba pa ang panahon nia sa kulungan. Sana pagsisihan nia ang kasalanan nia. At sana paglabas nia e maayus pa nia ang buhay nia.

I’m so busy at work that my head needs a break from all of it, which actually means, I gotta catch up on my gossip sites and some other non-sense BS about people in my country. Haha! What a loser?!

First things first, Manny Pacquiao won last Saturday over Miguel Cotto from Puerto Rico. Bleh! That’s not news anymore. So what is? Well, if you’re Pinoy and you haven’t heard that the new alleged girl of Pacman is his leading lady in his new movie (oh i hate the this title, so cheap), Wapakman — Krista Ranillo, then you are soooo out of it! You might need to be adopted by a new country! Haha! Kidding… But seriously, I bet Manny is contemplating on things now. I mean, this news totally rained over his parade. What?! With 7 titles won, at least $30 million dollars in earnings and a great achievement for the country and all they can see is this rumored infidelity (which I really think is true, by the way)? Well Manny, too bad for you. Ang mga tao, kahit anung gawin mong maganda, isang mali mo lang, at siguradong yun na lang ang makikita nila. At kay Manny, pang-ilan na ba ito? There was ARA MINA remember? Who happened to just had her dream house built worth PHP17 million. At kinita daw nia lahat yun, pinag-ipunan. Yeah?! Uh-huh.. If you say so..

I feel bad for the wifey, JINKEE. She has to take this all in. She, who stuck with Manny through his selling pandesal days up to his defeats and failures, and this is what she gets?! Manny should really be ashamed! Kaya ako, TEAM JINKEE! Haha!

Friday, Nov. 20th, marks a very special day. Wait, is that my daughter’s birthday?! I’m such a bad mom. I was totally thinking of something else! Somewhere in the lines of hmmm.. pale-skinned people – *wink* vampires! Hahaha..

Kidding aside, kids’ birthday parties are so hard to plan. Specially if they already know what a party means. I was having a hard time explaining to Gabie why we can’t have a big party for her birthday since all she can think of is how she had it last year in the Philippines — complete with venue, cake, balloons, family and friends. But that was for her 7th birthday celebration. And in our country, 7th is a big thing.

So I made her a deal. In exchange for a bowling party plus all the things that I will mention below (which would cost me a lot more), we’ll go swimming with our closest friends, bake her a really nice cake — pink fondant single tiered cake with flowers and butterflies and a set of cupcakes to go with it (yeah, go figure how I’ll be able to pull it off on Friday and to think I didn’t take the day off), make a wishlist, get almost everything that’s in it and then, we’ll watch NEW MOON, instead. That’s sound a plan, right? And the cherry on top of my very vampire-y week, Edward Cullen. Eeeekk! Really, did I mention I’m such a geek?! Hahahaha! But it wasn’t just my cherry on top since Gabie has been wanting to watch the movie as much as I want it too. She even wants to start reading Twilight. Don’t you think that’s too early for an 8-yr old? But I’m glad that she loves to read..
