Halloween ‘09 and a new CameraPosted on November 3rd, 2009 @ 12:20 pm
Sorry to tell you guys, but I only have one decent picture
, so far, from our halloween party
over the weekend since hubby has not edited them all up to this time, which I understand since he was busy updating the desktop yesterday to Windows 7 . ![]()
But this is the rest of the gang. I sure miss my superman son Liam and baby lamb Reesie who was sound asleep when this picture was taken.
First row, L-R: Gabie the Pixie, Cherise the ballerina fairy, Rexon the hot pirate per his wife Jasmin, Andrei as Duke of GI Joe, Mica the cheerleader and Angelo as a car racer I think.
Second row, L-R: Joe the clown, Yna the Vegas Showgirl slash Chicken (haha!), Me as Ugliest Betty, Hubby as XL Joker, Jasmin as belly dancer slash butt-posing freak (haha!), Bhiggs and Mike as gay dancers, Ate Pie as princess and Cathy as supposedly Pocahontas or something (hehe! not sure).
(for better resolution, please click on the picture)
Anyway, as soon as pictures are edited, either hubby or I will be posting them on our respective accounts and just tag the rest. Hayyy! Ang hirap talaga ng walang sariling camera. ![]()
And because of this, I finally bought my very own! A Canon Power Shot SX120X. Yay me! ![]()
Actually, I’ve been planning to buy one since my old camera had to retire for poor quality while my mom’s camera, which I was suppose to take (without her knowing — hehe, inheritance kumbaga
), was given to my cousin. I finally came around to buying it. Hubby’s camera is way too heavy and high tech for me and I don’t have the time to edit pictures everytime I had to use it. ![]()
So anyway, I originally bought the Olympus Stylus Tough. With its very durable feature (shockproof, waterproof and freezeproof — good for someone who likes the outdoors and has kids like my son), I thought this would be good. But the image quality sucks!
So I decided to return it.
While at BestBuy, I was torn
between the Canon G-10 and G-11. Then I figured, why do I need an almost-$500
camera when we already have a DLSR Canon 50-D anyway? So for a cheaper prize ($300 cheaper to be exact!), but with almost the same picture quality of the G-10 and G-11, I settled for the Powershot SX120IS. Plus, the G series are kinda bulky since its the closest thing you can get to the DLSRs. ![]()
So I clicked! clicked! clicked!
my night away and decided that the Power Shot was perfect for me!
I cannot wait to post pictures using it. Camwhoring to the highest level… Woohoo! ![]()

4-day Weekend Food TripPosted on October 21st, 2009 @ 9:30 pm
Warning: Loaded with photos!![]()
Minsan nakakalito
Haaay! Pero sympre, thankful pa din ako. ![]()
Anu ano nga ba ang ginawa namin over the weekend?
Friday afternoon pa lang, hala food trip ![]()
na kami ni hubby. Haha! Mexican naman. We always go to Burrito King. The best ang asada nila dun at for a change, nagustuhan ko ang flan nila. Rough on the edges pero soft and fine yung loob. Yumm!![]()

Saturday naman, dakilang achay ako at mega linis ng banyo at re-arrange ng mga cabinets sa bahay. Kapagod!
But I promised Gabie that we’ll be baking cookies so, kinaya ng powers
ko kahit pagod na ako.

Sunday, we went to church early. Did the laundry and some other chores at home. Sneaked out with hubby again for some Vietnamese food
for lunch.
Pho Saigon this time, sa Dimond. I ordered Vermicelli noodles with beef tapos si hubby, some combo spicy noodles. Delish!! That’s my noodles below.![]()

Went back home
after lunch, took a nap with Liam while Gabie played. Hubby went out to take some pictures. Around 6pm, family went out for dinner in celebration of hubby’s birthday from last week. This time, buffet at Golden Corral. Mannnn! Busog na naman. Pano nga ba naman ako nito mamamayat?!
After dinner, went straight to Center Bowl at Spenard. Gabie wanted to play bowling so pinagbigyan na namin.

Aren’t my kids the cutest?!
Haha! Sorry, PMSing ako (proud mama syndrome)
. Anyway, the kids had fun. Ako, aching pwet
ang kinalabasan dahil nadulas pa ako sa isa sa mga lanes kahahabol kay Liampot. Kalikot likot kase!
Monday and Tuesday, I decided to stay home and catch up on my docu films. I recorded some pretty interesting (to me, that is!) docu on History channel.
So yun, pinanood ko ang Kennedy Assasination, Kennedy curse, at kung anik anik pa about the Kennedy’s. Obssessed much?
Haha! After that, mga presidential prophesies naman. Hala! Di ko tinantanan talaga. Im such a dork!
O sya, napahaba na ito. But, before I forget.. Here’s a little something for u guys.
She’s backkkkkk! CONGRADULATIONS! Hahaha!
