Halloween ‘09 and a new CameraPosted on November 3rd, 2009 @ 12:20 pm
Sorry to tell you guys, but I only have one decent picture
, so far, from our halloween party
over the weekend since hubby has not edited them all up to this time, which I understand since he was busy updating the desktop yesterday to Windows 7 . ![]()
But this is the rest of the gang. I sure miss my superman son Liam and baby lamb Reesie who was sound asleep when this picture was taken.
First row, L-R: Gabie the Pixie, Cherise the ballerina fairy, Rexon the hot pirate per his wife Jasmin, Andrei as Duke of GI Joe, Mica the cheerleader and Angelo as a car racer I think.
Second row, L-R: Joe the clown, Yna the Vegas Showgirl slash Chicken (haha!), Me as Ugliest Betty, Hubby as XL Joker, Jasmin as belly dancer slash butt-posing freak (haha!), Bhiggs and Mike as gay dancers, Ate Pie as princess and Cathy as supposedly Pocahontas or something (hehe! not sure).
(for better resolution, please click on the picture)
Anyway, as soon as pictures are edited, either hubby or I will be posting them on our respective accounts and just tag the rest. Hayyy! Ang hirap talaga ng walang sariling camera. ![]()
And because of this, I finally bought my very own! A Canon Power Shot SX120X. Yay me! ![]()
Actually, I’ve been planning to buy one since my old camera had to retire for poor quality while my mom’s camera, which I was suppose to take (without her knowing — hehe, inheritance kumbaga
), was given to my cousin. I finally came around to buying it. Hubby’s camera is way too heavy and high tech for me and I don’t have the time to edit pictures everytime I had to use it. ![]()
So anyway, I originally bought the Olympus Stylus Tough. With its very durable feature (shockproof, waterproof and freezeproof — good for someone who likes the outdoors and has kids like my son), I thought this would be good. But the image quality sucks!
So I decided to return it.
While at BestBuy, I was torn
between the Canon G-10 and G-11. Then I figured, why do I need an almost-$500
camera when we already have a DLSR Canon 50-D anyway? So for a cheaper prize ($300 cheaper to be exact!), but with almost the same picture quality of the G-10 and G-11, I settled for the Powershot SX120IS. Plus, the G series are kinda bulky since its the closest thing you can get to the DLSRs. ![]()
So I clicked! clicked! clicked!
my night away and decided that the Power Shot was perfect for me!
I cannot wait to post pictures using it. Camwhoring to the highest level… Woohoo! ![]()
